  • Responsibilities

    • Serves as the primary point of contact for regional employers in assigned region
    • Enters vacancies in MAXAdvantage
    • Coordinates training opportunities with Training Liaison to meet employer needs
    • Obtains employer agreements
    • Provides professional, intensive account management services to employers
    • Assesses and responds to employers' specific needs via frequent contact, which includes meeting with and presenting to employers to discuss potential services, assessing employer needs, building working business relationships, and customizing offerings as needed
    • Provides and/or facilitates employer access to information regarding employment, the labor market, potential employer tax incentives and credits, labor laws, and wage and hour rules
    • Develops strong relationships with local economic development groups, chambers of commerce, and professional organizations
    • Works with individual employers and/or groups of employers to organize job fairs, mass interviews, on-site recruitment, or other recruitment efforts
    • Works with case managers to match specific clients with jobs
    • Identifies and works with community groups, organizations, and/or employers to bolster program participation
    • Informs and educates target audiences about the program’s goals, services, requirements, and processes
    • Creates relationships with CWEP providers
    • Cultivates work experience placements
    • Manages CWEP agreements with employers
    • Maintains database of CWEP sites
    • Maintains and publishes site/slot availability

    • Adds CWEP sites focused on priority occupational sectors as needed

    • Maintains accurate referral information used by case managers
    • Coordinates and participates in community outreach and various community and stakeholder meetings

    Qualifications

    Requirements

    • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
    • Previous community relations and/or experience working with various employers
    • Previous experience within the staffing industry (preferred)
    • Previous social services experience (preferred)
