    This position is a remote opportunity that will require travel and use of your personal vehicle.  Must have valid DL.


    Looking for 2 Candidates to support different regions of the state as follows:



    Central Region (this encompasses the Central 1/3 of IN) will include, but not limited to: Vigo, Wayne, Tippecanoe and Delaware counties.


    Regions are subject to change.


    Home office would be located in downtown Indianapolis, IN - Please confirm which region you are interested in working!!



    • This position will serve as a program liaison for all statewide safe sleep education and prevention efforts.
    • The SUID Prevention Community Coordinator (Community Coordinator) will assist with implementation of the Indiana State Department of Health’s infant mortality plan; specifically related to meeting their safe sleep educational goals.
    • Assist with facilitation of building networks of Fatality Review and Prevention (FRP) partnerships and the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs to reduce Indiana’s infant mortality rate.
    • Assist local FRP teams as well as both traditional and non-traditional partners, to expand safe sleep messaging and practice throughout Indiana.
    • Assist with the collection of data to guide the efforts of the SUID Prevention and Safe Sleep Program.
    • The Community Coordinator will also be able to assess
      local infrastructure and identify gaps in services, assist will collaboration efforts, and make recommendations to the Safe Sleep/SUID Prevention Program Manager for strategic and
      program planning, as well as assess the continued efforts of local Safe Sleep Outreach Sites to ensure maximum impact and success.


    • Must be a logical thinker, familiar with research techniques and not be afraid to ask questions.
    • Must be an intermediate to advance Excel (skills testing required)
