  • Overview

    The Administrative Assistant is responsible for processing all case and non-case related documents and electronic information.  An Administrative Assistant will be detail oriented, organized, MS Office proficient, and able to multi-task with moderate supervision. This position also contributes to the achievement of overall goals. 

    Responsibilities

    • Manages and processes all case and non-case related information/documents
    • Supports and assists staff and attorneys as assigned
    • Supports and assists all Administrative Assistants in coordinating daily work schedules.
    • Maintains calendar dates (in Outlook) for all active cases
    • Organizes case files for attorneys in preparation of evidentiary hearings
    • Contributes to overall Agency and Division goals
    • Interacts with public and outside contacts as frontline administrative assistant both in person and on the telephone
    • Performs special projects and other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interfacing with all levels of the organization.
    • A minimum of two years industry experience in the utility or related industry (preferred)

    • Knowledge of utility regulatory practices is a plus. 

    • Excellent organization skills, as well as a team player, self-motivated, and dependable.
    • Detail oriented
    • Knowledge and skill in developing and maintaining case files and other documents;
    • Ability to work independently and in teams both in a timely and well organized manner;
    • General knowledge of Agency’s document repository system.
    • Proficient using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, SharePoint);
    • General knowledge of State rules and policies;
    • General understanding of Agency policies and procedures;
