  • Overview

    The Human Resources Intern will directly assist the Human Resources Department with a wide range of projects related to HR recruiting, onboarding/orientation and other miscellaneous projects. In this position, the intern will gain a better understanding of the role that Human Resources can plays in a corporate setting, and gain hands on experience for them to be better prepared to work in the area of human resources.




    • Learn steps in the recruiting and hiring process, including job postings, reviewing resumes, offers and onboarding.
    • Research best practices and assist in the redesign of communications and packets to applicants and new hires:
    • Assist with ATS system transition and update
    • Assist HR team with departmental initiatives and projects as assigned.
    • Answering of multi-line telephone system
    • Handling HR related queries in a responsive, customer focused way providing a comprehensive first line of information
    • Maintaining and updating confidential information 
    • Additional job duties as requested




    • Minimum two years of college completed preferably with a concentration in HR
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills
    • Strong decision making and organizational skills required
    • Strong drive for results with a proven track record of achievement
    • Ability to effectively and professionally present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
    • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
    • Familiarity with Microsoft office products, with ability to learn internal systems
    • Strong attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple support functions
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment
    • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others
    • Proven track record of dependability and reliability
    • Ability to acknowledge and respect confidential information
